Moving to Glasgow is taking up a lot of my time at the moment however Custom inc has a tumblr page which will have some of my stuff on it as well as everyone else at the shop so check that out.

I will be full time in Glasgow from the 1st of December, let me know if you would like to get tattooed, I won't be working anywhere else now until conventions next year I don't think. Still working on getting some flash done.

Heads Will Roll

Not many pictures came out great from last week in Glasgow. Did this shark.

And then this week I went south and spent a few days with everyone in Glory Bound.

Did "Coming home" on Ben, not the best picture.

Pinky wanted a cross of Gunner (Petes dog) and Godzilla.

He does have a little pink scar on his top lip, it's not a bit I missed or anything.

And then I tattooed Pete.

Thank yous all around as always, had a great time, Exeter's Pizza express didn't know what hit it.

On the way home I stopped by TKs with a panther head design and got down to some screen printing (with a little bit of spray painting).

The end result is 13 A3(ish) posters that are now up on my new big cartel site. £10 per print, one per person, postage included, all individually sprayed, signed and numbered.

After the spray paint I even did some of the screen printing.

Obviously a thank you going out to Tony, contact him for all your screen print needs.

The prints are ON SALE NOW and once the 13 are gone they're gone sorry, no re-prints.

Sad to see the end of my week in Broad Street, had a great time as always.

Did a little shark on Jo. It was quite the week of script but this was a very lucky one.

Always a good time when Gary Pugh is involved, he came to hang out Friday and we finally got this done. Hot stuff x Danzig.

Done in black and gray because Danzig wouldn't have it any other way. And then we had just enough time to bust this tiny one out.

For life bro! And on the last night Marcos sealed his Death by stereo love.

So... on the road again I'll be up at Custom Inc all next week and then the 3rd and 4th on November I'll be at Glory Bound Tattoos in Devon, message me to book in and if you've already spoken to me about getting tattooed down south then expect a message of harassment.

I think it's safe to say now, since it's up on the shops site, I am chuffed to announce I will be joining the Custom Inc gang full time as soon as I have a place to live. I will be in the shop every other week from now on until I'm settled in Glasgow so come say hello and get tattooed.

Busy week means long blog post. It started with the Affordable art show in the Undertone, Cardiff. I ended selling all original paintings pretty quick. Here are the proper pictures of each piece.

Thank you to everyone who bought them, sorry to everyone who asked too late, I should have made more. Next time. These were all sold as originals, bagged with header cards, no prints were made. It was a good night, thank you to everyone who came along and it was great to see some friendly faces I haven't seen in a while. Thank you also to Chris and Hana Kooki Two Bit for putting on the night.

The next day I set off for Scotland, Friday soon disappeared to the drive and Saturday morning I got tattooed at the Scottish Tattoo Convention by Dave Fox.

I hope to work the convention myself next year as it was a great weekend of even better company. The weekend was followed with the great pleasue of guest spotting at Custom Inc in Glasgow. The trip could not have happened without Billy as he wanted to get tattooed. He wanted a daruma and this is what I came up with.

I was blown away by Billy's and everyone else's hospitality and had such a good time. Everyone should go get tattooed by any of the Custom Inc gang, luckily being a hard working bunch they have presence at pretty much every convention this year.

I can't wait to go back. Thank you again to everyone.

At first I thought this would be a fucking nightmare but before Christmas Brad did his side and I did mine last week. I think it came out well, the divide is obvious but it's what Calum wanted.

So I joined the brave new world and bought a Wacom Bamboo. Anything digital I've done before I've been quite neanderthal in using a finished inked design with minimal photoshop afterwards. Well here’s my second attempt at full digital. The first wasn’t great, and neither is this.

A deep freeze has fallen over the country, missed out on a few days work due to over a foot of snow falling on my home and sadly a few tattoos I was looking forward to had to be re-scheduled. I also only just managed to get down to the Designer Violence Christmas show in the Milgi, Cardiff on it's last day. I only had my phone camera and was foolish enough to go when it was closed, however someone (thank you) was nice enough to open it for me. So here's some poor quality pictures from the show.

It was a shame I missed out on going to one of the nights where there was an event happening. A big thank you to DV for showing my painting, here is a good picture of it now the show has finished.

We Want Fun

Lack of posting, Thomas Street internet is down.

This however is my favorite bit of a flash sheet I just finished. Myself, Lee, Brad and Neill have all re-done some flash from the "Military Tattoo Flash" book, Lee picked pages for us at random, bit of a shop project.

I think I got a pretty good page. Not my usual style but I love traditional, you could say I smoked some Krak while painting this. I am a big fan of Smith St. especially Bert Krak and Daniel Santoro, this was painted with respect to all parties that influenced me. I'll post up everyones finished work when they're all done and the internet is working again. This project had been great fun but I don't think I'll be whip shading everything from now on, I still prefer my stupid shit.

Now that I've justified ripping people off, on the 16th of December running to the 18th in the Milgi, Cardiff I will hopefully have a pianting showing as part of an exhibition thanks to Designer Violence. There's also live art from the likes of God Machine, stalls and other arty stuff going on. Something for everyones taste, definitely worth a look.

The same weekend but for one night only, LePubs 2010 "Stars in their eyes" charity event. A night of cover bands, £5 on the door and the winning band gets to nominate a charity of their choice. Come show some love.

Back home from Dublin, convention season is over. Had a blast, alot of traveling but it was good seeing friends and making new ones. Tattooed Amy on the Friday, she's going to send me a picture so I'll update as and when. Did an Angel of death of sorts on Eoin on the Saturday. Felt like being back in high school having the CFH love.

Jenna had a King of Spades on the Saturday too, I never got it out of her why she wanted it but it was cool, she let me run with it.

And to wind down on the Sunday Cian wanted a tattoo of his dog Milo and I was happy to oblige.

Very busy few weeks. London convention was a good time, good to see some friendly faces although in some cases far too breifly, got tattooed by Dan Sinnes, bought loads of books most noteable of which is Amund Dietzel, "These Old Blue Arms" and ate alot of crappy food. Busy tattooing week followed and a automotive nightmare on the M4 Saturday morning. Got to work 5 hours late but got to tattoo a bulldog balancing the world on its head on Josh.

This was the only good picture so here's a picture of the stencil. I then tattooed Gareth with a zombie, didn't finish up untill it was late, another lock in, so the picture quality is poor.

Full steam ahead for the Dublin Halloween Convention at the end of the month, I'm fully booked and can't wait.

Crosstown Traffic

As reported I spent the day at Broad Street Tattoo, Bath yesterday. Had a great time and was made to feel very welcome by all. I tattooed a baby crocodile on Toni, on the side of her leg going into the ditch of her knee. Tough.

I don't normally like "In progress" pictures but I can't wait to colour in this hannya mask start off a sleeve.

And today Garys chest finally got finished, started way back, nearly 2 years ago and since I've been tattooing nearly 3, that's alot. It's got 2 cover ups too. About time it got finished.

Working at Broad Street in Bath tomorrow for the day, Thomas Street as normal Thursday and then off to London Convention on Friday. Strong week.

I made myself a stencil, Brad drew straight onto his own leg upside down, I tattooed what he drew onto him and he tattooed the stencil on me. Double L, down with brown town, Llanelli love.

And just as Brad goes "fruity and colourful" (to great effect I add) I've gone the other way and desaturated with graphite pencils. My first attempt ever using anything other than HB.

I hope it's obvious that it's Stevie Wonder.

This goes on sale next Thursday on Swallows & Daggers, click through to see a mock up. It's not very traditional but whatever, nobody had done a dagger being swallowed either so that was an easy trap to fall into.

Calum and Leigh came to the studio today along with their friends from Australia, Josh and Tam. Did alot of tattoos, none of the pictures really came out but I think by sheer numbers I got these. Josh let me have free reign on the design side (which is nice) so this is what he got. Click through for bigger.

Late night lock in at Thomas Street, did this on Wales toughest wrestler Eddie Lizard. Due to it being a late finished the picture quality is pretty poor (more so than usual) as there was no natural light.

Bit of a close up, why not? There is skin tone in there but you can't really see it, I'll try and get follow up pictures.

Bit of a script day yesterday (as is today so far), here's one I did get a good picture of, finished Liams feet. One looks dirtier than the other due to hair re-growth.

Bit of a slow news week, finished a Swallows & Daggers T-shirt design for Cian, I'm sitting on it untill he deems it time to show. Brad has also done 2 designs and Matty D'Arienzo has done the other. Tutti has been in the studio all week and is blowing minds busting out some awesome work, including finishing Brads chest.

Very busy week, I'll just run through it in order. I tattooed Dave and Gary on Thursday, we didn't finish Garys chest but did a gap filler on Daves leg. He spotted the baby face as a doodle in my sketchbook and I know Dave is very keen on fried chicken so I drew this.

Friday I had the great pleasure of meeting and tattooing Drew Millward. He wanted an Eerie Indiana themed peice, we managed to get alot of referances in, most of which I don't understand.

In return Drew painted me a huge owl, a new prized possesion in my home. I couldn't be happier with it. Be sure to check out his work as my picture taking skills don't do it any justice.

Friday night, after taking Drew back to his humble hotel, as planned we traveled to Norwich listening to 500 days of Weezy, getting to the hotel around 2am. Saturday we set up (I ended up with a tripple booth to myself) and I tattooed Morgy with a cuckoo clock. I also tattooed a panther head later on that day but I don't have a picture of it yet. Morgys new tattoo went on to win Best Small Colour later that day. Very pleased.

On the sunday I tattooed a smoking clown (sorry Kozik) and a Ray Ban wearing wolf. Both great fun to tattoo.

Had a great weekend, got to hang out with some good friends and meet some cool new ones. Drove home again Sunday night, late into Monday morning. As much as I enjoy being busy, it's great to be home.

Busy month ahead. In Cardiff on the 14th of August this is happening.

If it wasn't enough, from what I've gathered its also the launch of Designer Violence Smut Issue, which I submitted a page for. However I'll be missing it because I'll be in Norwich for the weekend at the Norwich Body Arts Festival. I still have some space if you're in the east of England and want to get tattooed let me know.

And then, aside from other conventions and a couple of very cool customers, at the end of the month (August 24th to 28th) Tutti Serra is guesting at Thomas street. I think he might have one spot left if you're interested.

Other things happening before the end of the year, myself and Lee are guesting at Broad Street, Bath in September. And then, at the end of October me, Lee and Brad are working along side Steve Burlton and Joseph Deegan at the Dublin Halloween Convention on the Swallows & Daggers booth, I still have some space possibly.

David Cross Comes To Life

Did this Arrested Development tattoo on Dave late into last night. Loads of fun. Hard to get a good picture of it as it's half in the ditch of his knee. Also twisted Doms arm into having a spider.

Bit out of the norm for me, but pleased with the results.

Sam Ricketts painted this for me for our painting swap, I'm really pleased with it and can't wait for a couple of other projects we've talked about. More to come.

Wizard Fight!

Heres a bit of an update on what I've been doing on the painting front. Click the picture to see it framed.

This snow leopard has been sold and is off to its new home in moshaus tomorrow care of Michael Darke.

And finally, a painting I've been working on for what feels like a long time, its my biggest to date, a dirty wizard (black soles) mid air, conjuring a spell. I've only got a framed picture of this with half the studio reflected on the glass, so you'll just have to come see it in real life.

So there's my painting update, there's already another one at the framers however I'm gearing up for a load of cool tattoos now over the next month or so, painting will fall by the wayside. Busy, good.

Another busy week, well it's been a busy year. In the last six months I've set up for 270 sessions of tattooing (and yes, I count them in my diary). I tattooed Josh yesterday, all he asked for was "Good Vs Evil", nobody thought he would go for what I drew up, but he did. Ye' of little faith.

Pretty hard to get a picture of, I guess it's another real lifer. Thank you Josh and no thank you Kai for repeatedly knocking the table. Another highligh of the week past, myself and Brad did a swap, themed stamps. His is on the top, even though he used my stamp.

A good end to a busy week, did a bit of a filler on Doms leg.

I'm hoping you might be reading this because you've picked up one of my stickers from somewhere that Ive stamped the back, so thank you for showing an interest, lots of things happening in the coming weeks. If you want some stickers let me know. I'll put a load in with the tshirts once I have the rest of the stock, sorry about the delay.

And finally, Swallows & Daggers issue #3 is now out and definetly worth a read, best indy tattoo zine out there and now they've also changed the site to include a hell of alot more content on a daily basis so don't sleep, check it every day.

Higher And Higher

So yesterday was alot of fun, met some old friends, made some new ones. Sold some paintings and t-shirts, gave away loads of stickers, it was a very busy and well run convention. A quick thank you to Gary and Dave for coming with me, it was a great (and long) day. I tattooed Gary first with a harpooned hammer head shark (with battle damage) on the front of his leg.

And then Dave got a poisoned Dracula on the back of his leg.

Shorts were the order of the day, a strong look for my new t-shirt models.

And I'll leave you with one of the highlights of the day, I slowed down on the motorway for Dave to stick his phone out the window and snap this.

I also now have 1000 garish stickers.

So I'm fully merched up for Sunday. The rest of Thomas Street are in Liverpool at the moment, say hello to them, Brad has some prints for free so go grab one while you can. They've also got new t-shirts with them with the shop crest on them by Lee. In the interest of spreading the love, tomorrow I'll be representing in Reading Tattoo convention. It's being held at the Rivermead leisure complex and I think doors are around lunch time.

In other news, 33/Crossbreaker/Blackhole went well last night, as far as I'm aware all the prints went. They also had a t-shirt for sale that I did, in the same golden yellow as my t-shirt, very Wu. I don't think they've made many, they'll be selling them tonight too.

Next update will be post convention. Myself, Dave and Gary will be loading up the Yaris, squeezing in with the tattoo bed and everything and heading to Reading early tomorrow morning. Truth Of My Youth

Did a small tattoo on Alex as he's braking out of his twentys into the big 30. We're all getting old but there's always room for a daft tattoo.

Half way through Lee jumped on and made it a threesome, he hand poked a small candle on his other leg.

We then celebrated with a cake only just bigger than the tattoo, from the bakery next door. Happy birthday Al!

In other news I got the prints of the flyer for Friday back, aswell as some more business cards for Reading Tattoo Convention this weekend.

So I'll put the posters on the merch table after 33 have finished on Friday, grab one on the way out. The best things in life are free... and limited to 30.
